Abington Vale Primary School

Abington Vale Primary School is a forward thinking primary school which has two sites approximately a mile apart.

Park Campus (the original Abington Vale site) was built in 1968, and has an attractive building surrounded by extensive grounds which provide a stimulating environment for both learning and play for our 270 pupils. Stirling Campus was opened in September 2013 in an innovative office block conversion, and provides a unique and exciting learning opportunity for 210 children. Its modern and dynamic design is based upon Scandinavian school principles with large collaborative spaces. Although both sites are very different in appearance, both share the same ethos, values and dedication to high standards and outcomes for children. Abington Vale is part of Northampton Academy Primary Trust, which has like-minded schools with a passion to enable ‘extraordinary children to achieve extraordinary things’.

Our engaging and friendly school community work collaboratively to ensure that all children have the best opportunities to succeed. Staff work hard to ensure that children are challenged and supported to achieve highly and we benefit from a highly supportive parent community. Children's behaviour is outstanding and they enjoy learning. You are always welcome to visit and find out more about life at Abington Vale Primary School.

Ecton Brook is a large Primary school which occupies two sites approximately one mile apart. One is located at Ecton Brook and the other is at Bellinge. We have Joint Head teachers and Deputy Heads who all work across both sites.

The school has maintained the two unique community identities yet melded them into a cohesive, effective unit of one thriving, successful primary school. We are very proud of the excellent progress that children make at our school in all areas of learning.

Ecton Brook Primary is a happy, vibrant and secure learning environment where every person is valued. We provide a relevant, creative and challenging curriculum through which the children can develop the confidence to reach their full potential in an ever-changing world. We seek to develop the aptitudes, skills and knowledge needed to help pupils achieve through praise, encouragement and high expectations of work and behaviour.

At Ecton Brook we have the motto of CARE - Challenge, Achieve, Respect and Enjoy.  These values underpin all that we do.

We are passionate about offering the children a wide range and variety of opportunities. These take the shape of visitors and educational visits, residential experiences and over 60 free extra-curricular clubs which help to enrich our innovative, relevant and connected curriculum.
