Adrian White is Chair of the Board of Directors. Adrian was previously a Chair of Governors at Abington Vale Primary school. Adrian works as Divisional Managing Director in Carlisle Support Services, a retail and interiors company. He is experienced in developing the effectiveness of governing bodies, supporting new Chairs of Governors in their role, and supporting GBs to support and challenge. He oversaw the transition of Abington Vale Primary School from requires improvement to outstanding in a 2 year period, working closely with the local authority. Adrian is also chair at Pavillion pre-school in Northampton.
After graduating from Oxford University, John worked with a Christian organisation in Iran for two years as a volunteer. Returning to the UK in 1976, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and spent his working life with a leading professional firm in Manchester, Northampton and Milton Keynes. He held various voluntary trustee roles whilst working, including as Governor of Milton Keynes College for 12 years. Since retiring in 2013 he has taken up new roles in the not-for-profit sector including Governor at Weston Favell CE Primary School since 2014 (Chair since September 2017) and Treasurer of St John's Home, Northampton. He is deeply involved in his local church, St Peter's Weston Favell and his hobbies invlude Art Appreciation, Theatre and Cinema, watching sport and playing golf (badly).
Julia Kedwards is Chief Executive Officer of Northampton Primary Academy Trust. Her previous role was Executive Head Teacher of Ecton Brook Primary School and Bellinge Campus, a larger than average split site primary school in Northampton. In 2010, Julia’s own school supported, and subsequently merged with, a special measures school just a mile away. Both sites support communities facing well above average levels of social deprivation, Free School Meals and Special Educational Needs. Julia was Head Teacher for twelve years and during this time has opened a Children’s Centre and Childcare provision, supported two schools in special measures and jointly formed NPAT. Julia was awarded an OBE in the Queens New Years Honours List 2018.
Stuart Is Executive Principal of a cross-phase Multi-Academy Trust based in Bedford, where he has been since September 2017. Prior to this, he was Headteacher of a high performing school near Cambridge. He has also spent eighteen years in schools in London in posts including Maths Teacher, Head of Year and Assistant and Deputy Headteacher. He is a regular speaker at education conferences, an education blogger and an avid reader of books including literature. He has three young children and lives near Ely, Cambridge.
Tom Rees is a former Advanced Skills Teacher with almost 20 years of school leadership within the UK and overseas, Tom is the Executive Director of School Leadership for Ambition School Leadership and the Institute for Teaching and was formerly the Education Director of Northampton Primary Academy Trust where he lead the strategy for school improvement and curriculum. He was a Headteacher for 10 years in two Northamptonshire schools, most recently at Simon de Senlis Primary in Northampton
Graham manages a business change organisation and brings experience and expertise in transformation, building winning teams and strategic planning. Graham has worked in delivering change for over 25 years with multiple Blue Chip organisations across the UK and Europe. With an active interest in sailing, he supports British Youth Sailing, locally as a Junior Fleet Captain at Hollowell Sailing Club through to assisting in World Sailing Championships. If Graham isn't delivering change or working with young sailors, there's a good chance he's sailing across another Ocean........
After spending over twenty years in Human Resource roles mainly in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry, Julie has recently taken the leap to become a self-employed HR Consultant. She has previously operated at Board level across many geographies and is able to bring that experience to businesses requiring qualified HR support on an ad hoc or project basis. She particularly enjoys working on transformational change, employee engagement and organisational planning. Her aim is to support organisations through those processes as well as offering HR guidance and support as needed. Outside of work, Julie enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Jeremy is an experienced leader of people and businesses, having led teams across multiple disciplines, sectors and geographies throughout the UK and in Africa for a major high street bank. This experience has given Jeremy a passion for Culture, Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion and the vital role all play in the transformation of businesses to create long-term, sustainable benefit for both organisations and society. In his spare time, he is an enthusiastic armchair sportsman, slow runner, Chelsea fan and most importantly, husband to Helen and father to Phoebe and Toby.
