The Learning Rainforest Fieldbook

NPAT is very proud to see two of our schools, Simon de Senlis and Rectory Farm featured in Tom Sherrington's follow up to his much acclaimed The Learning Rainforest - Great Teaching in Real Classrooms.

The Learning Rainforest Fieldbook (published on 18 October 2019) explores how Tom's ideas can take shape in the real world of education.  He chronicles the journeys that a range of schools throughout the UK have been on in recent years in an endeavour to provide the broadest and best possible education for their children.  The sections on Simon de Senlis and Rectory Farm are an inspiring and entertaining read, capturing both the relflections of our teaching staff and sebsequent feedback from our children.

NPAT HR Strategy Team!

On Tuesday this week our NPAT Head Teachers joined together at the Holiday Inn to work on the NPAT HR Strategy, using immersion, ideation, synthesis and prototyping to clarify our thinking and help us to formulate our aims and actions moving forward.  We had a great day working together and have a draft strategy at the end of it - success!
