Weston Favell CE Primary School is a two form entry primary school which works closely with St Peter’s Church in Weston Favell village.
We are passionate about our curriculum which is creative, relevant and fun. It offers high levels of challenge for all of our children. Our aim is to provide a learning environment which develops children’s self-confidence, curiosity and determination to succeed. Collaboration and decision making to solve problems innovatively are fundamental 21st century life skills we strive to develop within each individual child.
Our Caterpillar Values - courteous, communicative, creative, courageous, conscientious, community and compassion - underpin all that we do to establish a safe, open and positive learning environment in which trusting relationships between all children and adults exists. The ‘seven c’s’ are shared throughout the school day and are linked to our reward system ensuring that all children are aware of how they have demonstrated the value. The children are very proud of our school and consider it an honour to represent Weston Favell Primary CE School at a variety of sporting and creative events.
Our extra-curricular clubs add further enriching experiences to learning for our children, some are run by staff or volunteers, others are run by private providers for a small fee. The large number of visitors to our school, from a variety of faiths, cultures and work places enhance the opportunities for learning. Parents play a large part in the life of our school and we value their partnership. A thriving and dedicated PTFA support us financially to ensure that we can offer a variety of trips out of school, these include a walk in the local area to a coach trip to Coventry cathedral and residential visits for children in Year 4 and Year 6.
Weston Favell provides a Before and After School Club, ‘PALS’, offering quality care for our pupils. We also run our own pre-school, ‘Shining Stars’ for children aged 3 - 4 years. ‘Shining Stars’ provides a caring environment with stimulating play activities helping children to make friends, take turns, share and negotiate, enabling them to achieve their potential.
We invite you to visit our school and see what makes it so special.
