NPAT Education Priorities- September 2026
The aim of the NPAT Education Strategy is to provide educational excellence for every child who attends an NPAT school. This sustainable school improvement work aims to support all children to achieve and thrive by engaging with evidence, providing high-quality professional learning and:
- Securing high-quality leadership at all levels across schools
- Developing and implementing an effective, evidence-based inclusion strategy to ensure the best provision and outcomes for all disadvantaged and vulnerable children
- Ensuring schools have a consistent, effective and inclusive approach to teaching
- Ensuring schools have a broad, rich and rigorous curriculum offer across core and wider curriculum subjects
- Ensuring all children achieve strong foundations and secure the fundamental knowledge and skills needed by the end of KS1
- Establishing a robust, effective attendance and behaviour strategy that fosters a strong culture of belonging
NPAT- Key Education Performance Indicators
- All schools aspire to achieve national levels of attainment at each statutory assessment point and above national by the end of Key Stage 2
- Assessment data demonstrates that all schools have improving outcomes over time
- Outcomes for disadvantaged children are above disadvantaged peers nationally and closing the gap with non-disadvantaged peers
- The quality of education that children receive in trust schools is of a consistently high standard
- All schools judged at 'expected', 'strong' or 'exceptional' standard by Ofsted across all graded areas of the framework
- Attendance is rising and at least in line with the ABIE target for each school
- Suspensions are falling across schools and below national on IDSR
